This is just the first day of blogging and my head is already inundated with ideas for the blogs. Guess I have taken a liking to it already :-). Which of the stuff I write is actually readable by others by readable, I mean that people would genuinely sit and read the entire blog (whatever crap that might be)and may be share some of their ideas with me, remains to be seen. I usually take to writing as a stress buster, a window by means of which you realease all the thoughts that you have locked up in your head, sit back and try to make a sense out of all of it.
Oh great I am getting all philosophical again. but then who doesnt at some point or other in their life??

I have always wondered about certain things in life. Often trying to come up with answers, only to realize that you dont have definite answers with you, but only a bunch of "may be". "May be this is like this, that's y , or, may be it is not meant to be like this " "May be "
Often times we have to be contented with the " May be's". This is I must say one of the most optimistic ways of taking a perspective at certain things. Some of those I would state here.

!. Your life is going smoothly and suddenly one day lightning strikes and you lose something or someone you loved the most in your life. For quite sometime your mind goes blank, not knowling whether all that is happening around you is real or you are just living a nightmare. Somebody has to snap you back to life and that is when you start wondering or throwing questions at oblivion , " How did this happen?? , " Why did this happen? " " But why me ??"
You dont have answers.. Just plain nothing. Blank.. It is then that you start formulating these May be's.. May be that person;s time had come and he had to leave
May be "God" puts you all this because He wants you to be stronger
May be he wou;d be happier there in some other world(even if you dont believe there is another life beyond death, you would for the sake of some one else) rather than here.. May be .. And you would bever know
Beleve me everyone will face this situation sometime or the other in their life, some really early in their life, some a little late

2. One other situation is when you look back in your life and wonder ,
" May be if I had said what i really felt to that person , things would have been different" " May be if I had taken music a little more seriously early on in life, then I wouldn sit here today and regret"
Many such may bes . You would never know. What I mentioned in the first point is not in our hands, but this one is. Time is a good teacher and teaches you to take decisions wisely precisely so that some years down the line you wake up and not regret for ceratin things not having done or said the right things at the right time

3. Is the more optimistic one.
May be in the future, we would have a better understanding . May be.. May be

now that you've written so much on "MAYBE".. heres another percept thats based on Maybe and luck..

Maybe Bad luck? Maybe Good luck? Who knows?
There is an ancient Chinese story of a farmer who owned an old horse that till his fields. One day, the horse escaped into the hills and when the farmer's neighbors sympathized with the old man over his bad luck, the farmer replied, “Maybe Bad luck? Maybe Good luck? Who knows?”

A week later, the horse returned with a herd of horses from the hills and this time the neighbors congratulated the farmer on his good luck. His reply was, “maybe Good luck? Maybe Bad luck? Who knows?”

Then, when the farmer's son was attempting to tame one of the wild horses, he fell off its back and broke his leg. Everyone thought this very bad luck. Not the farmer, whose only reaction was, “Maybe Bad luck? Maybe Good luck? Who knows?”

Some weeks later, the army marched into the village and conscripted every able-bodied youth they found there. When they saw the farmer's son with his broken leg, they let him off. Once again, the farmer's only reaction was, “Maybe Bad luck? Maybe Good luck? Who knows?”

There are no misfortunes in life. There are only missed fortunes… missed only because we fail to recognise and appreciate them as they truly are… fortunes, experiences, learning opportunities, seeds of wisdom…

nicely written, writing does release a great deal of anxiety or stress sometimes.i completely agree that sometimes life forces us to reconsider certain things and we sometimes regret about the past.and sometimes in the fear of not going wrong we forget to live :) and about the last point, i gave that many thoughts and finally decided that in India u need to be awesome to get that as a career goal, so i am now ok with it :P...great work ..i wish u keep blogging ...

for my lovely friend MEGHNA
my compliments for this blog. It is a good collection of MAY BE's but 'good' ones.
For serendipity
we CANNOT enhance our decision making skills over time by sitting at a window and watch the time fly by. But
i think it can be done by indulging ourselves into day to day activities, trying to do the same things-differently.By learning from our mistakes which are made when we venture into unknown territories we have never explored.By learning from others mistakes.
